When I’m Gone

When I’m gone

will you say good-bye

weep and wail, dance and cry
sing a song

waxing maudlin
and sentimental

will you march
on Bourbon St

lead a parade
of freaks and family

raise your glass
and pour it out

will you hold on to hope
and light a fire

will you be changed
were you
will you remember
to tell my tale

will you come and find me
when it’s your time
